Religious Education is offered for school age children K-12 on Sunday Mornings from 9:30-10:45am at St. Michael Church. Our Director of Religious Education, Charlene Chansler, along with many volunteer catechists who plan faith based lessons to share the word of Jesus with their students. With safety being of the upmost importance, all our staff and volunteers are background checked and trained in the Virtus Protecting God’s Children program required by the Diocese of Grand Rapids.
Special classes are arranged for those who are preparing for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Our curriculum builds on each of theses Sacraments to foster a life-long learning and love of Jesus and His Church.
Parents are the primary educators of the Faith to their children. It is encouraging to see many children at Mass and in our classrooms. If you have school age children and would like to register them for our program, please fill out the form below.
